So Frustrated

I know I haven't been perfect this week but I did eat well most days AND I worked out. Seeing a gain of 0.2 pounds just pissed me off. I'm going to chalk it up to PMS (especially since I've been fantasizing about fried egg sandwiches).

this week's plan:
cardio
yoga
strength training (at least 2 days)

Resistance, As Seen on TV

Let's go Princess! I admit I am an infomercial junky. This is one of the times I can say I'm glad I didn't check my impulses. I am SO freakin sore right now. The 11 minute workout that comes with the Tower 200 (installed very easily on my door, by the way) was no joke. I had to pause it so I could finish all of the reps but it was a really outstanding workout. If you too are interested in not being able to move without saying "ouch", visit bodybyjake.com . . . they will be more than happy to help you out.

Other fitness newbies this weekend, a minute longer in my jogging interval (I'm up to 6 minutes jogging with 3 minutes walking) and Crunch fitness's "Candlelight Yoga". I'm a huge fan of the yoga routine. It felt like my entire body got longer and more flexible while I relaxed. Awesome.

Back to the Basics

I guess eating a bunch of cheese and drinking a bunch of wine is not good for weight loss. I'm back home from visiting friends and family for the weekend and I just feel puffy. There's something about being inactive that makes me want to be MORE inactive.

Goals for the week:
- stick to eating frozen meals (even if it kills me)
- work out 5 days (even if I don't want to)
- relax enough to be able to appreciate activity

Back from Vacation

Maintained I think. (i frankly don't remember what I was before I left). Swimming daily really helped. Trying to figure out how to do what I've been doing without paying Jenny Craig for it.
